In Australia’s reply, Shikha Pandey had Alyssa Healy bowled off a lovely incoming delivery at just four runs. Meg Lanning fell to Gayakwad when the score reached 35. Then Gardner and Perry fell to Kaur and Sharma soon after. When Beth Mooney fell after making 35 runs, Australia had reached 71 for five. This is when Tahlia McGrath came to the crease.
With Nicole Carey falling at the score of 94, Australia needed 25 off 20 balls and then after two dots, the required rate climbed up to 8.3. Here Tahlia McGrath continued her exceptional form with the bat and boundaries while also running hard between the wickets. Wareham also contributed two boundaries and a huge 18th over led Australia to victory as the team collected 19 runs in eight balls. McGrath got the Player of the Match honors for her 42 runs off 33 balls. Rajeshwari Gayakwad had the most outstanding figures of the match, clinching three wickets for 21 runs.
