In the Argentina Open singles, Hungarian compatriots Panna Udvardy and Anna Bondar advanced ahead in lop-sided victories. Panna beat Argentinian Julieta Estable 6-3, 6-2. She had a 24-17 receiving points edge and a win percentage of 81 on the first serve in the one-sided affair. Meanwhile, the Hungarian also registered a 33-19 service points edge.
Anna Bondar gave no chance to Spanish player Irene Burillo Escorihuela, winning 6-0, 6-0. The Hungarian won the service points 26-10 while pipping the Spanish 26-11 on receiving points in one of the most one-sided battles you’d ever see.
