Alberto Gines Lopez created history as he ended up with an Olympic gold medal in Sport climbing. Gines helped Spain secure a gold medal and now their count is in double figures. This is the first time that Sport climbing has been involved in the Olympics.
The United States earned the silver medal in the contest as Nathaniel Coleman finished in second place. Meanwhile Jakob Schubert helped Austria to a bronze medal.
