After both ECB and English players agreed to go ahead with Australia’s tour, the excitement has gone at its peak level. Joe Root also said earlier that he is ‘desperate to play in the Ashes and can’t wait for the action to begin. Tim Paine also revealed his excitement regarding the Ashes and showed elation on playing a near full-strength England side. The series is set to begin on eighth December. England has not won an Ashes in Australia since 1987.
I'm hearing a lot of their players will commit. There might be one or two that don't, but I think we'll see a really strong England side come out here.
