After nearly one and half years away defending his country, Ukraine, Welterweight World Champion Yaroslav Amosov returns to the Bellator cage to defend his title against former four-time NCAA Division 1 All-American Logan Storley, who is the interim Welterweight champion. Unbeaten professionally and with the longest active streak in MMA, Yaroslav Amosov will defend his title in a rematch with the American Logan Storley, who he defeated via split decision in 2020 on the way to capturing the Welterweight championship. The fight is the headline bout of Bellator 291 taking place at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, this Saturday.

Yaroslav Amosov
Number four in the Bellator men’s pound-for-pound rankings, the 29-year-old Ukrainian champion from Irpin is a multiple-decorated Sambo wrestler. Yaroslav Amosov joined Bellator in July 2018 after being undefeated in nineteen fights, which included only two decisions. Three years and seven fights later, Yaroslav Amosov became the Bellator Welterweight world champion after a unanimous decision win over Douglas Lima in June 2021. The outbreak of the war in Ukraine made Amosov unable to defend his title earlier as he joined the fight to liberate his hometown Irpin.
