A veteran of 39, Tyson Nam has been fighting professionally since 2006 but only got into the UFC in late 2019 when he was drafted as a late replacement for injured Alex Perez against Sergio Pettis. He lost his debut by Decision and followed that up with a second loss in his sophomore against Kai Kara-France. The former Flyweight champion of X1 World Events has a 3-4 record in the UFC, with his last fight a submission loss against Bruno Gustavo da Silva in March 2023. One of the few fighters in the Flyweight division with a one-punch knockout power, Nam may be fighting for his UFC place in the twilight of his career against the unbeaten young upstart.
