Stage 15 came to a close after the cyclists completed the journey from Rodez to Carcassonne (202.5kms). The initial three days in the Pyrenees, which form the boundary between France and Spain, begin Stage 16 by bringing the cyclists out of the Rest Day.
Location of the Race
The race will resume from Carcassonne and finish at Foix. The total distance to be covered by the cyclists will be 178.5 kms.
Bets on Tour de France Stage 16
With the predictions for Stage 16, we anticipate two races: one for the stage win and one for the yellow jersey. Jumbo-Visma may be willing to let a breakaway to establish a significant advantage and maintain it to the finish line, given that the team is weakened after losing Primo Rogli and Steven Kruijswijk on Stage 15. If so, we can expect Michael Woods (Israel-PremierTech), Dutchman Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo), Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost), and Luis-Leon Sanchez (Bahrain-Victorious) to build a lead and give their best shot.
This is the first of Pogacar's three opportunities to catch up to Vinggaard in the yellow jersey before the Tour's last time trial on Saturday. Since claiming the yellow jersey on Stage 11, Vingegaard has been very competitive and resilient, but without the support of his teammates, he will be alone than before the Rest Day.
For the upcoming round, these are bets on various bookmakers:
- According to the odds of Bet365, Tadej Pogacar is likely to win for 7.00
- Even the bets on 1xbet give an impression that Tadej Pigacar is likely to Win for 5.5
- According to 22Bet, Thibaut Pinot also stands a chance of winning for 11.0
