Rinat Fakhretdinov is unbeaten in the UFC since his 2022 debut. Dana White offered the former Gorilla FC middleweight champion a contract, and the Russian has not disappointed. Unbeaten since 2013, the 33-year-old earned a draw against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos last December before “Gladiator” won a hard-fought split decision over Nicolas Dalby last June. A win here will propel Fakhredinov into the welterweight rankings. The American Top Team member also competes in professional grappling events.

The 30-year-old Brazilian newcomer arrives at the UFC with a 21-5 record and a two-fight streak. He now steps in at short notice to replace Nursulton Ruziboev.
