The Warriors are full of terrific offensive options and Klay Thompson’s 30+ points performance was cherry on top in Game Six versus the Grizzlies. Stephen Curry is no stranger to such huge nights and these two form perhaps the most intimidating shooting backcourt in the league. Although Jordan Poole had some weak offensive nights to end the Grizzlies series, he has scored 20+ regularly. However, we can’t overlook the play of Andrew Wiggins who was a live wire in the last series and played terrific brand of basketball, being highly active on both ends. Draymond Green is the defensive anchor, rebounder, playmaker, and has been a huge reason for the Warriors’ success. Kevon Looney grabbed 22 rebounds in the final game of the series against the Grizzlies but will he get that much playing time here?

The Mavericks made a mockery of the Suns in the final five games of the series and it was largely due to their defensive pressure that shut down Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Mikal Bridges in the second half of the series. The Mavs became an elite defensive unit during the Regular Season and they know how to shut down the main players of the oppositions. The main factor for them making it so far is obviously Luka Doncic, who scored 33 or more in four of the games and showed that he deserved the MVP award. Jalen Brunson got his act together after a slow start and Spencer Dinwiddie’s 30 points night may spark some confidence for the bench. Dorian Finney-Smith, Reggie Bullock, and Maxi Kleber form a strong defensive connection and their offensive production will be a “X-Factor” here.
