Kuwait-based Zain has deployed Comptel Convergent Mediation and Comptel Provisioning and Activation, which will help the operator consolidate its billing mediation transaction processing and automate the order-to-activation process.
Zain Kuwait replaced its existing mediation and provisioning system and cited the desire for greater stability, increased business and operational flexibility, and support for IMS and 4G/LTE among the reasons for the change.
Comptel Convergent Mediation and Comptel Provisioning and Activation are now live across Zain Kuwait’s mobile network, with respective deployments having taken place in six months and one year.
Comptel Provisioning and Activation enables operators to fully automate the process of handling subscriber orders, activating resources and services in the network all the way up to the start of billing.
