Telstra signs final $11b deal with NBN Co

Telstra has reached a final agreement with the government over an $11 billion deal to transfer its fixed-line operations to the National Broadband Network. Shareholders will vote on the deal on October 18. Optus has also agreed to migrate its HFC customers onto the network.
