Sprint Nextel, Clearwire sign $1b access fee deal

Sprint Nextel has agreed to pay Clearwire at least $1 billion during 2011 and 2012 to access the Clearwire Wimax network, putting an end to a long dispute. Sprint Nextel is also rumored to be close to a deal to rent space on its network to LightSquared, and to Clearwire in a reciprocal deal.
