Nokia, Siemens abandon hunt for NSN buyer
Nokia and Siemens appear to have given up on a search for private equity interest in joint venture NSN, announcing that “the current shareholders are in the best position to further enhance the value of the company.” Nokia has reportedly been reluctant to commit more funds to the JV.

NBN Co wins 2.3GHz spectrum licenses
Australia's NBN Co has won 2.3GHz spectrum licenses in 24 areas in a frequency auction, giving the company the coverage needed to complete the wireless portion of the National Broadband Network.
