China's internet userbase passes 500m
The number of Chinese internet users grew to around 505 million as of the end of November, representing an internet penetration of 37.7%, data from the China Internet Network Information Center shows.

Dutch court demands Pirate Bay block
A pair of Dutch ISPs have ten days to block access to file-sharing site Pirate Bay, a court ruled yesterday. The firms face fines of €10,000 ($12,500) a day if they fail to comply.
