Even with no cellphone-while-driving laws in many countries, young adults are doing this insanely dangerous act with impunity.

Enter many entrepreneurs looking to end this plague. Dallas-based WQN Inc. uses GPS technology to measure the velocity of a cellphone. At driving speeds it can disable Junior's cellphone. Hmmm, what if Junior is a passenger in the car or riding a train?

The Associated Press reports that researchers at the University of Utah have designed a Bluetooth key fob device that automatically shuts off a cellphone when the key is inserted in the ignition.
