Telecom software and services company Telecordia has debuted a new BSS suite, the Telecordia Dynamic Pricing Solution.
Dynamic Pricing aims to help operators increase revenue through the optimization of network usage, reducing the need for costly capex upgrades.
For example, in response to the problem of cell congestion, the suite can adjust pricing to incentivize a shift in usage to underutilized cell areas or less congested time slots.
It comes packaged with Telecordia Real-Time Charging, a related tool for creating customer-specific rules for rating, discounting, promotions and settlements.
