Nokia Networks appoints Moulton to manage and oversee partnership with Telstra

Wayne Moulton has joined Nokia Networks as head of customer team for Australia and Asia.

In his new role, Moutlon will manage and oversee the company’s partnership with Telstra, with a specific focus on the designated regions. He will be responsible for the creation of a dedicated Telstra team, which will be focused on fostering innovation and collaborative practices to tap new markets and generate incremental revenue.

Moulton brings to the table 25 years of experience in the telecom industry. Before joining Nokia Networks, he was managing director for Australia and New Zealand at Ciena.

Prior to that, Mouton held a series of managerial positions with Alcatel-Lucent and Nortel Networks.

Inmarsat names Frederik van Essen VP of aviation strategy and communications

Mobile satellite communications services provider Inmarsat has appointed Frederik van Essen as vice president of aviation strategy and communications, based in Nyon, Geneva.

Frederik will oversee long-term business planning and strategic projects, marketing communications and market analysis for Inmarsat’s fast-growing aviation division.

Frederik has joined Inmarsat from Air France-KLM, where he worked for almost a decade in a number of senior management roles, including director of corporate strategy and director of communications and database marketing.

He also held a variety of marketing, ICT and business development roles at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and served in the management team of the award-winning Flying Blue frequent flyer program.

VIMN Asia names Lee Shin Yng CFO

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia has appointed Lee Shin Yng as chief financial officer, with immediate effect.

Lee will be based in Singapore, and reports directly to Tan Chee Kiat, VIMN Asia's chief operating officer.

In her new role, Lee will drive Asia’s financial strategies and performance and will be responsible for the company’s financial reporting and planning. She will also serve as a business partner to Mark Whitehead, VIMN Asia’s executive vice president and managing director and Tan, providing financial guidance and counsel on the company’s strategic direction.

With 16 years of accounting and finance experience, Lee was mostly recently the Finance Director for Greater China at Added Value Limited, a part of the WPP Group.

Prior to that, she spent seven years with the Reed Elsevier Group where she last served as finance director for Greater China in the LexisNexis division of the group.
