Tata Communications has appointed Pratibha K. Advani as its new chief financial officer, based in India.
In her role, Advani will be responsible for the company’s strategic management, including corporate affairs and investor relations.

Advani has two decades of varied experience ranging from financial strategy, project financing, M&A, risk management, and legal and secretarial.
Prior to joining Tata Communications, Advani served as CFO respectively at NIIT Technologies, Barclays Shared Services and GE-SBI Cards – where she held both the roles of vice president of finance and CFO.
Advani started her career in finance with ITC Ltd., where she spent over 15 years working in its hotels division.
The appointment comes days after Tata Communications forged a video network partnership with China Telecom Global for streaming multimedia content.
