India's Tata Communications has teamed up with Alibaba Cloud to provide high-speed, low-latency access to Alibaba Cloud's ExpressConnect.
Under the agreement, Tata Communications will provide access to ExpressConnect in over 150 countries using its IZO Private Connect service.
ExpressConnect is designed to provide reliable connection between virtual private clouds, the internet and customers' own networks.
IZO is meanwhile a cloud enablement platform designed to help customers deploy private, public or hybrid cloud environments. It is supported by Tata Communications' extensive global subsea cable network.
“We look forward to working closely with Tata Communications in a bid to provide an exciting proposition with great connectivity for global enterprises wanting to enter China and for Chinese enterprises looking to go global with ease and convenience,” Alibaba Cloud Global deputy GM Yeming Wang said.
