T-Systems and Informatica has joined ranks to provide customers with a comprehensive cloud-based integration and data management service.
The service enables customers to integrate data and applications from all sources, including those residing within public or private clouds and those in on-premise environments. The corporate customers unit of Deutsche Telekom is the first cloud service provider to embed Informatica’s data integration software within its data center in Germany.
With this announcement, T-Systems will operate and manage a new “Data Orchestration as a Service” powered by Informatica. This service gives customers a new approach to addressing their integration needs without having to install any software on-premise.
The combination of Informatica’s cloud integration capabilities and T-Systems’ German cloud will enable T-Systems client base to securely and cost-effectively meet their cloud integration needs without having to build and maintain their own “homegrown” integration solutions. The new service will be launched at the end of 2014.
