Síminn in Iceland has implemented Comarch’s Managed Services that designed to help the telco accelerate rollout of new technology and services.
The implementation is part of a long-term contract signed in November 2016, the company said.
Comarch will take responsibility for everyday management of Siminn's billing related activities, applications and IT operations.
Managed Services delivered by Comarch are based on BSS/OSS products merged with third-party components. Comarch has also been providing BSS products to Siminn since 2013.
The implemented Comarch Managed Services is expected to not only reduce opex, but to also enable the company to “achieve excellence” in operational processes, the company added.
