With governments' focus moving from larger national networks with fixed terminals to networks with smaller mobile terminals suited for rapid deployment abroad, where interoperability to other organizations networks is a key functionality, SWE-DISH posted an increase in sales to the government sector in the last couple of years.
According to the company, the interoperability requirement has forced a migration to open standards-based infrastructure, where IP is the primary way of communicating.
This fits the SWE-DISH product portfolio very well, the company said.
The IPT Suitcase, in combination with SWE-DISH communication kits such as the Mobile Office, provides satellite communication for numerous numbers of simultaneous users. It offers a highly integrated multimedia solution for voice, video conference, video streaming and a large number of LAN extensions over an encrypted broadband satellite connection.
