Thaicom has appointed Suphajee Suthumpun as chief executive officer of the Thailand-base satellite operator.
She will assume the new role on August 1, replacing Arak Chonlatanon, who will continue to work with Thaicom as chief advisor from August to the end of September.
Suthumpun has more than 23 years of experience in the IT industry, working for a multinational company.
Before joining Thaicom, Suthumpun held the positions of managing director of IBM Thailand, and general manager of global technology services at IBM ASEAN.
