Subex Azure has secured a contract to provide its fraud management system to a leading telecom operator in Southeast Asia.
The operator, which currently provides fixed-line, mobile, Internet and data services to more than 20 million residential and business customers, wants to implement a fraud management system that will allow it to address new types of fraud such as interconnect fraud.
The company says its fraud management solution enables telecom operators to detect both known patterns and unusual fraud types in all environments - wireline (PSTN, ISP, VoIP) or wireless (2G, 2.5G, 3G) - across all services (postpaid, prepaid, VAS, MMS, m-commerce).
