Southeast Asia traffic up 51% in Q1

Traffic from smartphone devices in Southeast Asia represented 38% of overall traffic in Q1, compared to the 40% in the fourth quarter of 2009, according to AdMob's Southeast Asia Regional Metrics Report.

Manufacturers in Southeast Asia, not including Nokia, Apple and SonyEricsson, accounted for 26% of traffic, an increase from 21% last quarter.

The Nokia N70 smartphone continues to be the most popular Symbian handset in Southeast Asia, with traffic from the handset growing 26% quarter-over-quarter.
