Singtel has announced the launch of a two-in-one combined prepaid SIM and public transport travel card for visitors to Singapore.
The hi!Tourist EZ-Link SIM card provides 100GB of 4G data, unlimited access to social media and messaging and 1GB of roaming data for selected countries in Asia for S$18 ($13).
The card also includes S$3 in credit that can be used on Singapore’s public trains and buses, and can be topped up as needed. The card also offers a free round trip on Singapore Cable car, as well as discounts on various attractions and dining offers.
Singtel has made the card available for purchase at the Singapore Changi Airport, its Singapore shops and exclusive retailer outlets, 7-Eleven stores and other participating outlets.
With the offer, Singtel is targeting Singapore’s booming tourism sector. The city attracted more than 9 million international visitors in the first half of 2018 alone, an increase of 8% year-on-year.
