Sigma Systems signed a 3-year licensing and support agreement with Technology Networks, which provides the provisioning and operations services to the Internet services of Jupiter Telecommunications (J:COM).

Technology Networks will be merged with J:COM in July.

The contract is said to extend Sigma’s existing relationship with Technology Networks. The deal will focus on the firm’s ISP and cable businesses which will use Sigma’s service management platform.

Tim Spencer, president and COO of Sigma Systems said “Japan has been a significant growth market for Sigma, as the country's major service providers have sought out our solutions for delivering the complex and diverse digital services across these networks.”
