SaaSplaza has opened its data center in Singapore, its fifth worldwide after two in the US and two more in The Netherlands, to deliver Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions as a cloud service to organizations of all sizes and markets throughout the region and across the globe.

SaaSplaza chose Singapore because of its regional and global strategic importance. Not only will this location help deliver reduced latency to customers accessing the SaaSplaza Cloud, but it is also surrounded by countries and land masses protected from regional environmental threats.

SaaSplaza's data center is housed at KDDI Singapore Pte Ltd's Telehouse Singapore Data Center, which provides real-time monitoring, a biometric authentication system, and other services to ensure the physical security of the facility and its hardware. Security also extends to the logical level as the SaaSplaza Cloud platform has a multi-level security structure with four layers of firewalls, with customer data stored in the deepest layer.

"Security and availability have always been our first order of business, extending from how and where our data center was built, down to the people we choose to manage it," says SaaSplaza CEO, Herb Prooy. "SaaSplaza is one of the few companies in the world with both ISAE-3402 and SSAE-16 certifications, which delineate controls to ensure system security and availability, covering everything from physical security to system uptime to staff qualifications and backgrounds."

SaaSplaza serves end users in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. With its data center as well as its newly opened office in Singapore, SaaSplaza will be expanding its footprint in Asia Pacific
