RugGear has established a new company, RugGear South East Asia, in Singapore as it Southeast Asia headquarters.
The new company is positioned to provide sales, marketing and technical support to RugGear customers through the SEA region such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Brunei. RugGear
South East Asia has over 30 retail stores in Singapore and a walk-in service center, the company said.
RugGear, which makes a range of tough mobile devices for the global marketplace, will also introduce two new products – iSafe Innovation 2.0 and Marina Pro RG 100 phones – at CommunicAsia.
A premium, ultra-rugged 3G, enterprise smartphone certified for ATEX Zone 1/21 and IP68, the iSafe Innovation 2.0 is designed for professionals and workers who are exposed to the most hostile environments and engineered with built-in safety features.
Running on Android v4.2.1, the phone provides user with immediate access to email, business applications to control processes and look up documentation or calibrate field devices.
The Marina Pro RG 100 is a sleek, stylish multi-purpose phone that comes fully equipped with a 3W loud speaker, LED Tough Light, Bluetooth speaker and a power bank. The phone is IP68 rated and is waterproof, dust proof and shock proof.
