Veraz Networks and Comarch have launched a joint offering for wholesale carriers that combines Comarch’s real-time prepaid service creation and credit control application with Veraz’s ControlSwitch interconnect VoIP platform.
The solution addresses the cost of integration by leveraging the ControlSwitch’s ability to inter-work across legacy, first-generation softswitches and IMS-based SIP control elements.
This provides a unified interface into the carrier prepaid system and overall OSS/BSS environment, reducing the cost of integrating a diverse network switching environment into the prepaid system.
The Veraz-Comarch solution solves both the inter-working complexity for carriers across multiple switching platforms, as well as the real-time reporting and credit control required in this environment.
