PCCW Media, a subsidiary of Hong Kong's PCCW, has launched a new one-stop entertainment OTT platform including video streaming, sports events and movie rentals.
Now E is a new platform offering thousands of hours of content including Hollywood blockbusters, US dramas, Asian movies and dramas, variety shows and live action of world class sports content such as the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup.
PCCW Media has teamed up with a range of content partners including HBO, MOViE MOViE, Now Baogu and Viu to provide content for the platform.
Now E will launch for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play later this month. Users will be able to register up to five devices and launch two concurrent streams over the service.
The company will also offer the Now E box, the first Google Android TV box offered by a Hong Kong operator, initially through HKT’s The Club loyalty platform as well as HKT and CSL Mobile retail outlets.
Now E is being offered as a subscription service offering per-day, per-month or per-season subscriptions. During a promotional period, registered users will be provided with one month free access to the Entertainment Pack.
The service also includes access to Video Express, a movie rental service offering 48 hours unlimited viewing for between HK$22 ($2.8) and HK$32 ($4.1) per movie.

“We are confident that Now E will stand out from the rest as the most preferred OTT service as Now E is a single OTT platform which provides exclusive Asian and international movies, dramas and world-class sports events.”
