Japan's NTT Communications has teamed up with Dell Technologies' cloud subsidiary Virtustream and Dell EMC Japan to provide cloud platforms for mission-critical applications in Japan.
The companies will develop multi-tenant cloud platforms for mission-critical applications, including large-scale SAP systems.
Under the collaboration, NTT Com will provide its data centers, network and existing cloud platforms, Virtustream will contribute its cloud platform for mission critical applications and Dell EMC will provide a storage and converged infrastructure platform.
Customers will be able to build hybrid environments that integrate into the multi-tenant cloud. The platform will provide resource management based pay-as-you-go billing.
Through the collaboration, Virtustream and Dell EMC Japan aim to accelerate their cloud business locally and in other parts of Asia.
