Nokia Siemens Networks launches SON Plug and Play for 2G, 3G, LTE

Nokia Siemens Networks is expanding its advanced radio and network management portfolio with SON (self-organizing network) Plug and Play for GSM/WCDMA/HSPA+ and LTE.

This new feature automatically sets up the right parameters in base station commissioning that will lead to increased network quality and more efficient and faster network rollout.

Also, the SON Plug and Play will simplify the configuration and optimization of networks by increasing automation.

The new solution will be available for HSPA/HSPA+ in the fourth quarter of 2009 and for GSM and LTE next year.
