Motorola Mobility has expanded its product line of carrier Ethernet solutions to be able to satisfy the diverse business services and mobile backhaul needs of multiple system operators (MSOs).
These carrier Ethernet products will help MSOs deploy cost-effective commercial services and mobile backhaul applications.
Motorola’s new portfolio consists of a number of powerful hub-based aggregation switches/routers, customer premises based demarcation products, a leading edge Ethernet service management platform, and a 10Gbps carrier Ethernet switch designed for deployment in the fiber node.
Motorola is bringing portions of this product line to the MSO market through an agreement with Telco Systems, a BATM company.
