A tweet from mobile-review.com, known for insider Eldar Murtazin's often true leaks, has revealed that the first device to run Android 3.0 will be the 'Motopad'.

There have been plenty of rumors of Motorola working on an Android tablet, though previous talk has speculated that it will be called the “Stingray.” It has also been suggested that the tablet would use the popular Droid branding from Motorola's handsets.

“Google choose MOTOPAD as a first device to show Android 3.0 - 7 inch version” @mobireview tweeted.

The tweet seems to suggest that there will be more than one version of the Motopad, which would explain why there has been talk of both seven-inch and ten-inch devices.

Little is known about the internal hardware except that either version would feature a few certainties such as a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 16GB of internal memory and of course Android 3.0.

A leaked Verizon roadmap in December also suggested that it would be “hardware upgradeable to LTE.”

Android 3.0 is the first build of the OS which will fully support tablets – one reason why many manufacturers are holding off with their devices.
