Eir has deployed Openet’s Policy Manager solution, enabling the Irish operator to offer advanced digital service functionality and bundled offers to its customers.
Openet said this is the first deployment of its kind in the Irish market. Openet’s Policy Manager allows operators to offer innovative, convenient, and flexible ways for subscribers to buy and use their services, such as on-demand services, real-time upgrades, service passes, and advice-of-charge alerts.
This enables eir to provide its customers with greater access to service category bundles such as a social media bundles and mobile TV, using more flexible service pricing.
eir now has greater flexibility to enhance customer data bundles while also enabling improved capability to offer variable speeds for digital service experiences.
The combination of Openet’s Policy Manager and Evolved Charging enables enhanced flexibility as eir extends further into digital content and value-added services across its subscriber base.
