Indosat has partnered with Dimension Data to launch an enterprise-class public cloud service for the Indonesian market.
The Indosat Cloud, a public cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering, supports on-demand provisioning of cloud servers with customized CPU, RAM, storage, as well as management of compute, storage and networking.
Indosat said the new service leverages Dimension Data’s managed cloud platform and cloud management system technology, as well as the Indonesian telco’s certified data centers.
The public IaaS service is the first in a wide array of Indosat Cloud services that the Indonesia telco announced in January. Indosat will roll out additional public and private cloud services to its customers at the year-end.
As part of the partnership, Indosat has joined the Dimension Data OneCloud Partner Program as an alliance member.
