Amdocs held its Asia Pacific InTouch Business Forum 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia, just over a week ago attracting nearly 150 senior executives from the Asia Pacific region.

The forum service providers attended the event which focused on strategies for driving growth in the connected world.

Eli Gelman, president and chief executive officer of Amdocs Management Limited, said that the future presented service providers the opportunity to capitalize on new business models such as value-based pricing for content. He pointed out that service providers needed to transform in order to overcome the dual challenges of today’s exponential explosion of data usage and the fragmented customer experience.

Other plenary sessions included a presentation on personalizing the digital television experience and a customer case study analyzing the strategic role of operational support systems in LTE deployments.

Alongside an interactive panel discussing how service providers can use innovation to monetize new markets, guests at the event also had the opportunity to meet with a number of Amdocs Open Innovation startup partners and view some of the latest and most innovative technology available to Amdocs customers.

During the forum, Amdocs announced it had recently won the prestigious Frost & Sullivan BSS Vendor of the Year in Asia Pacific award for the second consecutive year. Amdocs also announced it had been ranked among the Top 10 outsourcing service providers in Southeast Asia, and climbed to 11th place overall in the 2011 International Association of Outsourcing Professionals list of the top 100 managed services vendors worldwide in all industries.
