Chinese gaming information platform MTGamer has launched the latest round of Asia's largest online and offline e-sports competition with support from HGC.

The launch event for the Glory Cup-Spring Tournament 2018 attracted nearly 100 gamers from the region.

Last year's event attracted more than 1,000 gamers from across Asia to participate in hundreds of online and offline matches, and this year's event is expected to attract even more participants.

Participants will compete in multiplayer games including League of Legends, OverWatch, Hearthstone, FIFA 2018, Clash Royale and Arena of Valor. The Red Bull Trinity Finale -- Hong Kong and Macau will also be hold at MTGamer eSports stadium in Hong Kong next month.

MTGamer opened the stadium, the world's first professional eSports stadium, in July. HGC is a partner in the initiative, and plans to work with MTGamer to launch a new MTGamer eSports platform using HGC's high-speed internet services shortly.

“HGC always pays close attention to the market trends and actively explore different opportunity to cooperate with OTT service providers, and giving support to eSports will be one of our company's future development goals,” HGC CEO Andrew Kwok said.

“Being the partner of MTGamer, HGC not only provides excellent internet services with high speed, high capacity, high stability and low latency for the competition, but also hope to further promote eSports competitions and attract more gamers by leveraging our customer base, as well as to increase public awareness of the eSports industry."
