Harris Corp. has signed an agreement with Japanese DTH satellite service firm Sky PerfecTV to provide an HD version of its playout automation application and media ingest application.
The order was placed through Harris' Japanese distributor, Itochu Cable Systems Corp.
Sky PerfecTV has a 35% share of the Japanese pay-TV market.
