TeliaSonera’s 4G services go live in Swedish city

TeliaSonera subsidiary Telia has deployed Nokia Siemens Networks’ radio equipment to deliver LTE services in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city. Telia said its subscribers are now enjoying peak rates of up to 100Mbps and multiple high-end services such as streaming TV and data downloads.

Uzbekistan firm deploys 4G network with ZTE tech

ZTE said a 4G (LTE) network built for Uzbekistan operator UCell has been deployed with ZTE's SDR technology and Uni-RAN solution. The network is able to achieve a downloading peak rate of 100Mbps.
