Google is scaling back the launch of Google TV products that were to be unveiled at CES next month, asking some manufacturers to give it more time to improve the software, reports the Financial Times.
Mobile content solutions provider Motricity has signed an agreement with Axiata to deliver end-to-end mobile web and data solutions to the Asian telecom conglomerate’s operating companies Dialog (Sri Lanka), Robi (Bangladesh) and Hello (Cambodia). The company previously inked similar deals with Indonesian operator XL Axiata and Malaysian carrier Celcom Axiata.

Chinese online game operator The9has signed a MoU with three intuitional funds to form a $100 million fund to invest in mobile internet applications. Chinese handset manufacturer Qiao Xing Mobile Communication has appointed Zhiyang Wu as its new CEO, replacing David Li, who will continue to serve as the general manager of R&D of CEC Telecom, a subsidiary of the company.
The People's Daily has officially launched Goso.cn, the first Chinese search engine backed by a state media organization, reports AFP.
