Indian mobile services provider Uninor has been slapped with a 90 million rupee ($1.98 million) fine for failing to roll-out services within the government stipulated one year period. The country’s Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal allowed Unitech Wireless to appeal its fine, but asked for an interim payment of at least 60% of the sum.
