DoCoMo unveils a service that allows customers to customize mobile phones additional operating systems or application. The specifications provide an open domain, which is separate from the phone's default domain containing the preinstalled operating system and applications, DoCoMo said.

Samsung and LG report that they have opened their own Russian warehouses for mobile handset storage. LG opened its warehouse in the town of Ruza in the Moscow Region, while Samsung opened its warehouse on the territory of Sheremetyevo-2 airport in the Moscow suburbs.
