Cambodia's largest operator EZECOM has entered a strategic partnership with intra-ASEAN wholesale provider LXT Networks to offer a combined connectivity solution which will bridge Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand.
The partnership will enhance LXT Networks' access to EZECOM's investments in the Malaysia-Cambodia-Thailand (MCT) and Asia-America Gateway (AAG) subsea cable systems.
In return, EZECOM will gain access to LXT Networks' shareholder StrataNet's capacity on various subsea cable systems including the Southeast Asia-Japan Cable (SJC), Asia-Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN-2), Asia-Pacific Gateway (APG), Asia Submarine-cable Express (ASE) and Japan-US (JUC).
The companies will deliver international connectivity services in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam while offering multiple additional strategic entry points into Southeast Asia.
In addition, the companies will leverage the partnership to provide their respective customers bases with end-to-end backhaul services with diverse paths.
“EZECOM has always been committed to providing its customers with first class connectivity, and this partnership confirms our position as a bridging partner for operators expanding their capacity into Thailand, Myanmar and beyond,” EZECOM CEO Paul Blanche-Horgan commented.
LXT Networks CEO Tm Sastararuchi added that the partnership “adds further value to investments made by our shareholder StrataNet and the development of an innovative and flexible optical network all throughout Southeast Asia.”
