Extreme Networks has named Joy Ghosh VP for Asia sales and Chiradeep Rao country sales manager for India.
Ghosh will be responsible for the sales management for all of Asia. He is a former sales executive at IronPort Systems, which was acquired by Cisco in 2007. Prior to that Ghosh had worked in sales roles for Symantec, Wipro and Zscaler.
Rao joins Extreme Networks from Cisco, where he was most recently a sales executive focused on data center business across India.
Prior to that, Rao has worked in similar sales roles for Dell and Wipro, responsible for worldwide management of sales programs for India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
