Ixia and EANTC are cooperating to deliver testing criteria, methodology and administration of multiple vendors’ 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) switches.
The first in this series of tests took place during May and June 2011, and the first two 100GE product test reports for ZTE and Alcatel-Lucent are available on Light Reading’s webpage.
EANTC and Light Reading have created a public test program aimed at providing network administrators with an unbiased, empirical view of new 100GE systems coming to market.
In the open test program, EANTC validated the performance, service scalability and power efficiency of the new HSE router interfaces.
