Convergys registered a record quarterly revenue of $702.7 million, 9% higher than in the same period last year. Operating income also rose 4% to $69.7 million.
All three segments of the company posted growth, with Employee Care reporting the biggest revenue rise at 25%, to $50.8 million from $40.7 million the year before. The unit also slashed operating loss by 18% to $8.6 million.
Customer Care revenue increased 10% to $454.8 million, while Information Management revenue rose 3% to $197.1 million.
The company has increased its full-year 2006 guidance to an earnings-per-share of $1.15. Its 2007 guidance remains at more than $1.20.
