Nothing gets the juices flowing than a high-profile war of words, especially when one of the accusers is Apple boss Steve Jobs.

Last month, Apple and Adobe entered the ring over Adobe Flash [http://www.telecomasia.net/content/apple-adobe-clash-over-flash], with Jobs describing the player - which is not installed on Apple's iPad - as broken.

He said Adobe has the potential to do interesting things but does not, and it refuses to do anything with Apple's software initiatives.

Adobe group manager Adrian Ludwig fired the first salvo, when he said that the omission of Flash makes around 70% of games and 75% of video on the web inaccessible.

It was Ludwig that had the last laugh however.

Apple reportedly had to amend one of its first iPad advertising campaigns, after part of its New York Times ad showed the device displaying Flash-based content.
