China Telecom’s European subsidiary has announced a partnership with Tinet for International Ethernet Private Line services.
China Telecom Europe will use Tinet’s wholesale Ethernet Extension service to provide Layer 2 Carrier Ethernet to more than 220+ PoPs in mainland China, over 70 PoPs in Europe and more than 15 global PoPs in other regions.
China Telecom customers will be able to connect their offices in Europe and the rest of world through standard Ethernet interface on a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint International Ethernet connectivity with speeds ranging up to 1 Gbps.
China Telecom is aiming for regional development and market expansion into Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Tinet is the former carrier arm of Tiscali Group that now focuses solely on the IP and Ethernet wholesale market.
